How long does it take to do our remodel start to finish?
This depends mostly on the situation. On average our projects take 4-5 weeks. We have done complete remodels in 2 weeks and we have had some take over 2 months. |
What are the main causes that delay a project?
Many times the kitchen project takes longer when the client makes changes during the process. This can affect the process, cost, and create time delays. We can give you a rough estimate as to how long the project will take at the time of the final design phase. It is important that every concern is addressed before the project starts. In order to help you and make this process as smooth as possible we have implemented a project management systems that helps eliminate the delays and down time that typically cause projects to take longer. Since we handle the trades primarily through “in- house” employees compared to our competition our kitchens can be completed in a relatively short time frame. |

When is re-facing the best option?
Re-facing is the best option when you really love your counter tops, general layout, drawer mechanisms, and overall quality of your cabinets and just need face lift then re-facing or re-finishing is probably the best option for you. We have a team of 12 full time painters that are fully capable of your re-finishing needs. However, if one is replacing their countertops and is not happy with the appearance of their cabinets the BEST option is replacement. From a functional, financial, or aesthetic point of view, re-facing does not make sense when replacing countertops anyways. There are many articles that can be found on this in kitchen magazines, home remodeling magazines, and on the web. |

How long does it take to get cabinets?
Our main cabinet line takes 3 weeks to get from the cut off order day of Tuesday. The cabinets are shipped to our warehouse where we inspect them for quality and design prior to shipment or demo of your kitchen. We also have a line of cabinets that we have in stock that we can get to you almost immediately. Our secondary line of Cabinets takes 6-8 weeks and offers some variance in color options and door design. Finally, should you choose 100% custom, that depends on what you want and how much. Our custom cabinets can take between 6-8 weeks to make. |

Should I replace my cabinets, re-finish, re-face?
We have he ability to re-finish cabinets, however, typically it is not best for the homeowner so we do not recommend it. Re-facing is a method used to give a kitchen a face lift that helps appearance but does not improve functionality or the quality of what is behind the very exterior appearance. When a cabinet is re-faced a thin veneer is glued on to the face of the old cabinets, in essence it is a band-aid fix and because of this our company has chosen not to offer this service. Although the finished project is usually aesthetically pleasing quality of the cabinet and finish does not meet the standards that we have set for our projects. Moreover, the quality compared to the price does not make sense. We are continually approached by re facing companies to become a dealer and provide this service to our clients, for quality reasons we have declined. Moreover, often times we have offered new cabinets for the same price and in some cases less than some companies charge for re-facing. |

How much does a kitchen cost?
We get this question all the time. Just like a car, it depends on what you want, there are high end kitchens and lower end kitchens and many options in-between. Just like a car it depends if you want a Saturn or a Ferrari. On average our prices tend to be a step up in cost from Home Depot and Lowe’s but in terms of quality, and service, (value) we blow them away. There have been some situations where we were lower cost, but it is rare. The major factors that effect price are the size of your kitchen, moving major appliances, type of cabinet styles, type of wood, options, countertops and all the other items involved in your remodel project that may be fairly simple or complex in nature.
With our system, we give you a ball park proposal based on what you tell us you want, the more you tell us the tighter the range of the ballpark will be. From that ball park you can budget for the kitchen of your dreams rather it be a fairly simple design with our high quality Thermafoil or Select Series or our top of the Deluxe, Premier, or Woodcraft series. After knowing your ballpark, should you choose to enter into design contract with us, we can arrive at a final price based on the final design.
